Olive grove

Olive grove

The olive grove from which we obtain an excellent extra virgin olive oil is made up of forty centuries-old plants and additional ones planted more recently. They all belong to the main native varieties and grow on ancient terraces supported by dry stone walls handmade from local stone.

History

History

Gio Batta Landini born in 1757 was the first Landini to arrive at Argentario, he married on 2 August 1784 and earned his living by cultivating the land he had purchased on the western coast of the promontory. The Casale Landini farmhouse stands right on that land that rises from the Maddalena sea and overlooks the Tuscan archipelago.
